Meh...
I enjoyed the first book in the series, but after the first couple of chapters of book two, I was bored. And irritated. It took me nearly four months to finish it because I kept setting it down.
I honestly do not understand the attraction of Mr. Grey. I guess I'm too much of a realist to believe that anyone that messed up can't be redeemed by true love. Sorry.
Ana, too, disappointed me in this book. I'd really liked her struggle in book one, but by the time she was lamenting to herself that she wished she could endure more pain in order to make her man happy, I was ready to toss the book aside. Please. I honestly think this book sets feminism back fifty years at least.
I don't think I'll be reading book #3.
